    Russet Studio is currently offering an amazing opportunity for the right leader to join our management team in Mumbai.  We are seeking a dedicated and motivated, Sales Manager who is energized and ready to hit the ground running.

    As a Sales Manager, you will promote and build Russet reputation as the #1 Furniture Brand in India while completing various operational duties.

    Russet Studio has plans of setting up an Experience Centre and projects substantial growth in the coming years.  This is a wonderful stage to join the team that will set the foundation team for the organization.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Lead the charge toward selling through various channels
    • Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization. 
    • Enthused to close targeted sales through effective planning & budgeting
    • Complete operational duties like reviewing of sales orders, maintaining of MIS, in-house inventory, etc.
    • Evaluate Market Research data and identify key drivers in making good selling business decisions
    • Develop innovative initiatives for stakeholder engagement and up selling
    • Provide inputs for brand promotion
    • Develop seamless communication with the customers and the cross functional support teams
    • Provide positive communication in the delivery of all company initiatives by adhering to the company’s Vision, Mission, & Values
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    • Outstanding oral presentation and above average written skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills (people person), strong ethical behaviors. 
    • Adaptability, dependability, resourcefulness, critical thinking, negotiation skills, attention to detail & organized
    • Ability to educate cross functional teams by establishing and maintain great working relationships

    Qualifications

    Educational Qualifications/Experience:

    • Management degree in Business / Sales & Marketing or related field.
    • 3-5 years proven experience in the furniture / retail management industry.
    • Proficient with personal computers with a solid knowledge of MS Excel & Word.

  • Support the Category Manager for execution of activity regarding Ecom Sales and execution through all Russet Ecom Partners
  • Support the Business Development Manager with After Sales Support
  • Coordinate with Ecom Sales & Retail Sales towards merchandise sales targets
  • Support the lead generation process
  • Provide support to Sales Team to produce the intended experience for our customers. Understand customer concerns and report to respective managers. Troubleshooting.

    Job Description

    • Attaining certain and specific goals in generating leads, lead qualification, marketing communication, building brand image and conversion of the leads
    • Planning and execution of marketing projects and campaigns. Ideation and creation of collaterals, distributing them in various media and social platforms and measuring its impact and effectiveness
    • Marketing of digital products such as websites – Online and Offline. Includes giving ideas for printed materials such as brochures and posters as well as executing online marketing campaigns
    • Reviewing and actively managing website and other online assets and sources
    • Using Digital Marketing strategies for marketing a product, whether digital or not. This includes online adverts, or any online marketing campaign
    • Monitoring the performance of campaigns and other marketing efforts, evaluating them and taking proper measures to improve the performance.
    • Performing  activities relating to Search Engine Optimization on a continuous basis
    • Creating and executing SMS and E-mail based marketing campaigns
    • Executing Social Media efforts and striving to improve the results in terms of KPIs e.g. likes, shares, tweets, etc
    • Using and researching the internet and new media to reach new customers, generate leads and retain existing customers
    • Analyzing market research and plan promotions, competitions and other various creative marketing techniques based on the research results.

Identifying new sales leads

  • Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives like driving offers and initiatives that make up the yearly calender
  • Attending exhibitions and industry events

Pitching products and/or services

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
  • Follow up by phone, email, and in person on quotes and proposals sent
  • Keeping update the necessary documentation and MIS
  • Provide the necessary support in meeting sales targets
  • Present status of the week during weekly reviews
  • Providing the necessary support to the Business Development Head

Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

  • Ensure the customer requirements are promptly attended to and delivered.

Role Expectations

Vendor management for a range of exciting product categories which includes :

  • Understand Vendor products and select product mix (quantities, styles, SKU- s, etc.) and manage the product procurement
  • Plan inventory cycles and build processes for repeat orders

Deep Category Sales Analysis including :

  • Detailed analysis of categories and products
  • Optimizing product range planning
  • Optimizing Stock levels
  • Optimizing price points and margin structure

Train internal teams including customer service team, sales team, content and product team, etc about the relevant products details.

    • Excellent skill and knowledge of 3DS Max and Vray
    • An eye for detail and good visualization skills
    • Ability to take feedback and make changes as required

Headquartered in Bombay, we’re based out of Mulund. Working at Russet is all about moving fast and smart.
